## `@mynameistito/opencode-force-input`

Force Input makes `Ctrl+Enter` an explicit escape hatch when a run is still active. It dispatches OpenCode's guarded interrupt flow three times, then submits the current prompt.

## Install

opencode2 plugin add "@mynameistito/opencode-force-input@latest" -g
```

The package exposes only the `/tui` entrypoint. It does not provide a server plugin.

To configure it manually, add the package to `~/.config/opencode/cli.json`:

## Key behavior

The plugin registers high-priority bindings for both `ctrl+return` and `ctrl+enter`. On either key:

1. OpenCode receives `session.interrupt` three times.
2. The current composer value is submitted with `prompt.submit`.
3. OpenCode decides whether that prompt is a steer or a new turn according to the normal session state.

The repeated interrupt dispatch is intentional: it preserves the TUI's guarded abort behavior across active runs and retries.

## Composer hint

The footer displays what the next keypress will do:

Disable the hint while keeping the keybindings with an object plugin entry:

## Keybinding conflicts

If `ctrl+return` is also configured as a newline binding, remove it from `input_newline`:

On Windows Terminal, a terminal profile may need to send CSI `\u001b[13;5u` for `Ctrl+Enter` instead of plain Enter. Configure a `sendInput` action in Windows Terminal's key bindings when the plugin does not receive the chord.

## Reinstall and clear cache

OpenCode caches immutable package versions. For a clean reinstall, quit OpenCode and remove the cached lane:

Then start OpenCode again or run the install command once more.
